Toes

My left leg fell out of the car door onto the freeway.
Passing motorists marvelled as it bounced past their windscreens and
planted itself toes-up in the ditch.
Ugly green frogs warbled and croaked and
so did my aged old Citroen as it lurched and choked violently eastward.
You know that the sun was setting,
I wouldn't have it any other damn way.
Who knows what wonders lie in ditches with frogs?
The toes knows.
